Thai Dill Garlic and Tuna Fish Cakes

This is a very simple yet tasty recipe for a no fuss dinner or quick lunch. Homemade fish cakes are ten times better than frozen products in the shops. This can work well with salmon or crab too. The simple flavor of dill really is the hallmark of this recipe and do not add more than you need, dill is a very strong herd and goes very well with seafood. sold in the Thai markets, this herb is not very common in Thai restaurants, but this is a type of dish that Thais would cook at home for the kids and family.
INGREDIENTS
250 g fresh tuna or you can used canned
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 large egg
2 tablespoons olive oil
METHOD
1. In a mixing bowl, stir together the tuna, garlic, dill, breadcrumbs and egg until well combined, form four patties.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the tuna cakes and cook for 4-5 minutes each side until golden brown.
3. Serve with a nice salad.
